Cascadia
 

Looking at some trucks, it appears the Cascadia does not come with an exhaust. Anyone know if there are options for one?

The 1:1 scale is a ground burner. Exhaust exits down under the aero skirts.

For those who just have to have them, I have seen people mount them Just behind the side Aero Skirts.
Or if you truly wish to ruin the lines of the truck, you could mount them outside.

DrDiff - thanks for the input. I saw one with a rear exhaust (behind the fairings) and didn't know where it came from.

some of the older Cascadia's have them behind the fairings but certainly not all , usually only one stack on passenger side . A lot of newer with the DPF systems don't have them . and as stated exhausted towards the ground . I have seen a custom one that had them like side pipes on a old hot rod . below the cab above the tanks

I put mine exhaust stacks on the back of the cab. It is mounted on where the back panel comes off. I used the stacks off the globeliner/king hauler and just made my own extensions out of aluminum tube. I think it finishes it off.

I have been seeing a lot of 1:1 Cascadia with bumper guards and cattle pushers so in the future you might see stacks on them.
The reason is that the Cascadia is slowly being sold to second and third owners, Out of fleets into Owner Operators.

I even purchased a set of fenders from the Grand Hauler to add to mine.

Did you get the sound and lights working? Any issues? Do you like it? Better than the MFU?

Yes After much trial and error I got my lights working yesterday. Beier is not as easy to setup as say a MFU, The wiring is a little more complex. But I wanted a true Detroit Diesel sound for my truck and I have a true Detroit Diesel sound. If you are Driving a MAN you can get a MAN sound, Scania V-8 sound. Mercedes Sound, Not a Generic sound as in the MFU. You can program it to "Audibly shift" through up to 5 gears as you accelerate, giving even more audible realism. Also it allows you to use other radio input than just the two sticks, Useful if you have a Taranis or similar radio with multiple switches knobs and sliders.

Now I have to figure out why I am not getting drive from my transmission.

I have never held a MFU in my hands, But it seems to me that it is about the same size. Now if you add in a Beier ESC, then it is larger because the Beier ESC is larger than the Beier Sound Module. Both easily fit behind the seats and in front of the battery compartment in the sleeper section.

That is the only place I think a MFU could have it over the Beier Sound module, as it has the ESC built in. However it is also a negative. If your ESC goes out, with the Beier system you just get a new ESC. If the ESC in the MFU goes out you have to get a whole new MFU
