Bruder Liebherr Front Loader

What's going on guys, here is a little something I started last night. It's my converted bruder liebherr front loader using firgelli actuators, and a ton of custom work and body hacking all mixed with some fabrication skills.... Looking dirty now but will be nice and clean when finished.... I have a new found respect for all you guys out there converting these bad boys or any bruder for that matter.... Not for the faint of heart.... A hot knife and dremel are your best friend! No more talk here ya to....

All dismantled.... The stock clips are a pain....
http://i1027.photobucket.com/albums/...pse106d9b4.jpg

Definitely have to replace stock hard wheels and tires, wanted to keep it inexpensive so I took a set of axial rims I had lying around, designed a center piece and applied them to the rim to get a nice heavy machinery look...

http://i1027.photobucket.com/albums/...ps9a5d0f34.jpg

Had an r2 trans lying around so I started modding it...
http://i1027.photobucket.com/albums/...psb5a5a5c1.jpg

Everything was fitting in nicely but then I realized I wasn't going to have space for the esc or battery...

http://i1027.photobucket.com/albums/...ps7d27edee.jpg

So I went a diff route with a nice compact Carson motor I had lying around...

http://i1027.photobucket.com/albums/...psf519ed6d.jpg

And like always when things are going pretty smooth disaster strikes.... Drilled down to the bone lol.... Good thing I have a high pain tolerance...

Sucks when that happens. Went through my finger tip and nail doing my last set of fenders. Looks like a fun tractor

you would probably be spending anywhere from $700-$1000 depending on which electronics you go with, batteries, radio, etc

Looking good, is the servo strong enough for turning with a bucket of dirt?

Nice build, I don't have the time or the patience so I bought one from Magom.
Instead of firgelli actuators it has hydraulics.
It was right at $1000 canadian delivered.
I have had a bit of trouble blowing 1 hydraulic line but I managed to fix it.
The only complaint I have is the tires are solid so I think I will invest in new wheels and I might make a bucket out of metal.

This is a pretty cool conversion! Quite impressive how you were able to fit all the working inside. I would have thought things would be much tighter. Sorry about your finger. I guess you have a little blood, sweat, and maybe tears in this build. :D

I thought of getting one but wanted to have the conversion under my belt so I decided to go this route instead and am pretty pleased with the consistency
