Old style dump trailer
I've been working on this one for a while now but it is finally starting to take shape. There is much more to do yet though...

Re: Old style dump trailer
He is in line Mark. It's just for something else.lol
The most fun things I've done in my life were never planned. Plans mean that life is scripted and that's boring.lol Live on the wild side Calvin! |
Re: Old style dump trailer
When it comes to rcs I have to keep a plan, otherwise I'll just spend spend spend, and that's not good. Sadly lol

Re: Old style dump trailer
I know your pain! I have wine and caviar tastes but I'm on a beer and peanuts budget... Wait, peanuts are expensive too! Ah man...

Re: Old style dump trailer
I spent the afternoon building the tailgate, spill plate and tail pan. I thought I would give this one a little spill plate to protect the lights;). Things on the rear aren't completely finalized but they are getting close. I think once the light holes are drilled and the mudflaps are in place it will be looking good.

Re: Old style dump trailer
Each side panel wraps around to the front and they join in the middle. I welded it up today and you can barely see the join. I could have made the outer pieces in three parts but I thought two was better for the look I was going for.

Re: Old style dump trailer
Mark it's like that verse in that Tom Petty song "even the losers get lucky some times":).
Here's the front after welding and about 5-10 min of grinding and sanding. Not perfect but once it's painted... http://i1293.photobucket.com/albums/...ps9pg8cwq6.jpg |
