New guy in Florida

Hi I'm new to the r/c rigs I've had everthing from planes to boats and almost everything inbetween but these trucks caught my eye sometime back on youtube. I've always loved trucks and my Dad drove truck when I was growing up. I hope my skills along with some help from the talent on this site I can build a replica of my Late Dads K100 Aerodyne like the one in my avatar thats a 1/25 model kit. Anyhow just wanted to say Hi and say that the talent on this site is amazing, Ive set for hours looking and reading the builds. Thumbs up to ALL.

Any suggestions as the best place to purchase a globe liner kit

Re: New guy in Florida

Is it beter to start with a kit and customize it or buy all the custom parts and build it

Re: New guy in Florida

I would buy a kit and customize it as you go and budget permits.

Re: New guy in Florida

As Travis said, buy the kit and go from there. I tried doing it the other way but the cost of the parts seperately can be higher. The stuff you dont use sell off or save for another truck. Careful, it can get addictive as my 4 unfinished projects will attest. Have fun!

Well I bit the bullet and bought a Globe Liner for a fair price on ebay. Now I can't wait until it gets here.

Welcome to RC truck heaven skinnydude!
And yes, beware of the addiction:) I bought my first truck last January, I kinda almost felt bad spending 600 bucks on a RC truck....here we are 10 months later and I now have 3 trucks and 5 trailers! .
How much does a good set of golf clubs and a club membership at a course cost nowadays? Or how about a decent gun collection? ..... That's what I always say to those who think I'm crazy.:)
