There are many people that own that truck that you have spec. Minus the decal, color and grover. Why don't you make it easy on yourself and put up a want ad, it will save you time and money. You can add grover, paint and decals after.

The dog pic was from a Google search. That might not be exactly the model dog I use.

That's what I had planned to do, but I still insist on a Kenworth cab and hood with the name "KENWORTH" on the sides of the hood.

I do want the challenge of assembling the truck myself.

I just need others to do the paint/decal/body/interior work for me.

Re: What do you people think of this plan?

if you contact SCALE ART with your list of specs they will make a kit for you even if the parts don't exist. exactly like how it should be in your eyes. KW everything.
Its going to cost in the range of $8000 to $15,000 dollars shipped loaded with all the bells and whistles. Including the dog. If you don't have that kind of money kindly stop with this hobby its not for you. Or you do as others do simply make it yourself, lock stock and barrel. The hardest part of this hobby is money how much can you put out. If your pockets are shallow and you have lint in the corners of them your wasting your time.

Or he could contact Wedico, they already have US trucks in their line up so might be a bit cheaper than ScaleART

Well, I contacted True Scale RC. I think something can be be made doable with a little help from them and to the delight of my eyes and ears for well under $8,000.

I can get a model dog for under $20 from amazon.com.

Where can I get a guy in a cowboy hat to sit at the wheel of a 1/14 scale rig?

Well, I can get the guy sans cowboy hat here...

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Tamiya-1-14-...3D381542392482

Now, I have to figure out how to make a cowboy hat to ft his head.

Actually, this dog is sold at amazon.com but might be too big for 1/14 scale.

If I was looking for a scale sized dog or close to it as possible. I would check for model train accessories. That field is known for having scaled sized accessories. Or get one printed.

Re: What do you people think of this plan?

I know how to get a licenced Wopper without a small fortune. Its the same method Im routing.

1/16 Monogram Kenworth W900A in either Aerodyne or flat top.

Now just add king hauler chassis and ta-da. An r/c Wopper thats actually easier to find scale accessories for.
