WANTED - information on cable excavator - Menck M 90

i saw this backhoe online, i guess it is a menck m 90. i am planning to build a 1/16th scale excavator and if i cant build the Hitachi 3600-6 for whatever reason... like maybe waiting for the hydraulic system if screwdrives fail to deliver results. this looks like a great "plan B" would like some more info. i have seen some builds on here that are incredible and use some of the same type of systems so maybe the builders of these incredible machines may be able to help me understand how this machine operates. to me it looks like the bucket is not fixed to the stick like other cable excavators. i would like to know how it works, any info would be appreciated! like an explanation, diagram, whatever i just want to know what cable does what, what might be needed, dimensions. you guys know what is needed for a build, throw in ANY info you might have. and keep it coming even if this thread is 10 years old, post it! ;)
thanks!

my design for a track system for the Hitachi 3600-6 to look similar but not exact. yeah they are 3 1/18" wide! the 1:1 has 38 on each side... :D i was thinking of using a dead treadmills belt. the 2 smaller bolts attach the 1 1/2" tube (sliced down the middle w/corners rounded using grinder) to the belt. the third one also does this but is longer for grabbing the drive wheel.

* not all measurements are exact, still need to find belt so those are off, as well as the length of bolts. those there are 4mm x 11m and 4mm x 25mm

let me know what you all think of THIS idea. dont forget about post #1 though

hey thanks! the first video helped alot. i have not seen that one yet. the second was a different style, i dont think i will build that one. i dont really like the way it dumps(personal preference) i dont like the "click" and then it dumps. the style in the first video interests me because i think its clever how the boom, stick, and bucket can be controlled all by cable.

would like to know some more info on the cable setups. how they work, what pulleys do what, how the operator controls it, etc. as well as some more pics/videos

heres a pic of where i am so far, not much progress. this is somewhat of what the tracks will look like. i need to space the shoes out 1/4" and i am thinking of using 1" x 3 1/8" shoes as opposed to 1 1/2" x 3 1/8" to get the look but only if the spacing is enough for the drive wheel and wont create binding.
