Now then from UK

Hi folks,

Just saying hello.

I'm building a 10th scale Mercedes Arocs using the Blackwell Beast as a starting point.

Some great stuff on here but I've got a feeling I'm off to have to make a lot from scratch as everything is 1/14, 1/16 or 1/8 in the world of Semi's!

Anyway, Hello & I'm glad to be a member on here:)

Naah mate, I'm luke1983 on a few other scaler forums though. Just that name is a bit boring & Baloo is the name of our family cat.

Ha, nice 1. 10th scale all the way bro! Theres loads in the pick up truck/4x4 type models and some inspirational builds out there.

That said, I've built a 5th scale petrol 6wd Merc SK but it's too big & noisy to use at home and I don't have time to be driving miles at the weekend to use it. Pity...

Here is a pic of it finished and the thread is here

How much does that way?!

If you rolled it over, would there be much body damage?

I've never weighed it tbh. It's 110 cm long and about 40 cm high though. All the weight is at the bottom so unlikely to tip but I reckon it'd trash the shell if it did!
