4200 Motor what is optimal %?

Mine came with it set at 25%... though people also set theirs lower.
What is the ideal percentage for this motor? It says on the rc4wd site:
11.1-29volts so not sure why it's set in the radio end point at 24-25%?
Thanks guys:)

I was told the pump in these excavators can deliver way more than the system can handle or needs.
I was also told that 25% would be maximum recommended. Any higher and all it will do is create heat and shorten battery run times.
I set mine at 23%. No heat issues and I get almost 1.5 hrs run time

Funny that it has to be set that far from 100%
Mine runs well at 24-25 below 23 the motor
sounds very sluggish like its running way off the way
it was intended.

Re: 4200 Motor what is optimal %?

It's the max speed of the motor VS what speed the pump needs to turn at. The brushless motor it comes with is way too fast for what the pump needs. That's why it is set so low is a better way to describe I guess?

And sorry. I re checked mine and I'm at 25%
