Total noooob question
 

Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Mike, I have been lurking on the forum here for a while. I finally decided to build a truck, KW tri-drive. Either a t800, or a t800h. I'm trying to decide if I should buy a kit or not. I already know I will not be using many of the kit parts, including the cab. I guess I'm thinking this build will nickel-and-dime me to death with misc. hardware, bearings, light-bezels, turn-signals and so forth if I DON'T buy a kit. Any thoughts would be great. Thanks !!!
