absolutely new to this hobby

Hi everyone, I'd appreciate a little bit help and advice on just how to get started here please ? A year or so ago, inspired by "Ice Road Truckers" I bought the REVELL kit "Bill Truckin" ? It wasn't exactly what I was looking for nor did I ever anticipate just what would be involved in building the kit to the standard I wanted; as such it has lain in the box to this day. The instructions provided baffle me quite honestly, I think I have this simplistic mind ? So, in the first instance I wouldn't mind hearing from anyone who has build this, or similar and then p'raps we can hook up and give this project a shot ? Thanks in advance people, look forward to hearing from you.

My e-mail, if its of use is 'robisdave@live.co.uk'

Hello Dave, welcome to our forum. :)

You're talking about this 1/25th scale kit?

If so, then well... you've bought the wrong kit to start in this radio controlled hobby. Although I'm pretty sure there have been more than a few that have made the conversion in 25th, our primary scale in this forum is 14th and mainly Tamiya models.
