MFCU-1 PROGRAMING

OK gentelmen, I got a question about getting the MFCU-1 up and running.
I am getting one tomorrow, and I was told when programming, not to have anything plugged in,( LED's).
Is this correct? Thanx for any help.

Re: MFCU-1 PROGRAMING

U don't have to have the lights plugged in to program the unit, but to check all the light functions, you may as well plug everything before you start to program. I program all of mine on a test-bench before i put them in the vehicles. Easy to access the necessary switches. Once you get it programmed, you can disconnect the LEDs and place the MFU here you want it.
