RadioLink T8FB
Thought I would take a minute to list this radio for trucks. I bought it with the idea of tearing it apart to put in more switches for lights ect ect.
Now since the radio was all of 30 bucks, figured if I ruined it would not be to big a deal. In all rights the radio was simple to remove the sticks and put in just switches on most channels. Two links to photo's show the radio as is and what it will look like when I am done. Right now have 3-3 position switch working that will take care of gears and lights. Figured one 3 position switch would turn on just clearance lights then clearance lights and headlights. So with 4 switches, plus steering and throttle, still have 2 more channels to either put more toggle switches or possible another knob. Turns out that doing this is much easier that I thought. Only next time going to do it with a better radio as the only way to adjust channel end points is with it plugged into home computer. Afraid the photo's are not the best, and have not found a way to link direct so just link's to click on to see them, sorry. Ok going to try photo's again since PhotoBucket says pay up or else. |
