Rearloader

I've started to build a rearloader. Not a copy of anything (easier that way :D)
Made the bucket today. Quite narrow, since most of the old rearloaders did not come with wide buckets.

That's very unique. I'm surprised you have room for all the electronics, and hydraulics. These machines were never very large.

Very cool project. What scale is the tractor?

1:Tamiya. I had the lift cylinders from before I started the project. They could've had a smaller diameter, scale- wise, but no I have lots of lifting power.

Nice. Your loader runs very smooth, and seems to have plenty of power. I know you like the narrow bucket, but I honestly feel like it could easily handle a wider one. There doesn't seem to be a lack of traction or power!

Re: Rearloader

Great video! Now it looks like you need some counterweights in the rear. Maybe some agriculture tractor style suitcase weights that can be added, or removed? I'm still impressed with the performance! Smooth, strong, and I like how you designed the self-leveling bucket linkages.
