1st Time, 1st Build from Alberta Canada

Hi all, just wanted to drop a line and thank you all for the help setting up my truck and especially for the comments on the radio gear.

This is my first crack at the ball and I have been pouring over this page reading about all your experiences, suggestions, and comments.

For a newbie, this is a really excellent resource! Thanks all for sharing your wisdom and for providing such a great place to share!

I'm attaching a few pics of my first attempt... enjoy, and feedback to improve is welcome!

Thanks a bunch
Spencer

A few more pics. The dozer has friends (a track hoe and payloader).

Upgrading the dozer and trackhoe got me on to the 1/14 scale equipment...

I don't think that life is going to be the same now.

Thanks guys, it was a lot of fun to build.

Next one will probably be a new trailer for the scania. More of a scale 40' or 53' flat bed. Thinking of a side dump and a low boy as well.

As for trucks... Probably a tri-drive Pete with dump and quad dump trailer... We'll see...

That depends where in Lloyd Darkrider lives... unless he is an Eskimo fan!

by the way, do we have a Western Canada club set up... similar to the central plains or east coast clubs south of us?

With the number of people from BC, AB, and SK, we should have the numbers...

Welcome to the forum. Nice looking truck ... but, being from AB, I think you need to build the elusive twin steer bed truck next.

Nice weather you are having out there!
