? on shaping aluminum.

I have cut out a pair of pairs out of 1/8" aluminum with a bandsaw, and need to know how to smooth the edges (remove saw cut).
thank You Paul H. Hanson

I use a stationary belt sander, Dremel and a file.

Start with a file or Dremel then sandpaper until you get the finish you want. Might have to use a body filler to get the final finish that you want. Paint will cover more than you think in the way of scratches.

when i did work on the 1:1 we would use a rasp file. it makes it smooth and you can shape with it. you have to cut a little big cause it takes it off fast.

I use a 4.5 " angle grinder w/flap disk on occasion I'll use a file then sand with wet dri up to 1500 if polishing and 220 for painting .
