Thirsty? Hungry? Room for the night? 1/14 aussie pub build.

Hey folks. Thought i'd put something up in here. Working on some scale buildings. This is the 1st one. Aussie outback style pub/bar.

Since everyone likes to build gas stations i thought id make something different. Also being Australian it would be heresy not to make a watering hole after a long day on the road.

This will also double as a storage box for collapsible buildings i will make.

1st pic is the basis of the build. Also front windows are rounded and will be made square so i can easily make the window frames without the curve hassle.

Nice! I really like the idea of using this as a storage box for other buildings.

It's a shame the pics are SO darn SMALL, it's hard to see detail...

Looks like it's going to be great, and it doubling a storage case is a great idea. The brick detail is pretty cool.

Who makes the cars? I really like that Superbird/Daytona and Imprezza.

Not sure on the impreza. Ill see if theres something stamped under the car. It was one of those chord car to remote things 1/15 scale. The others are all 1/16 fast and the furious rc cars. All remotes etc have been binned as its fir the car hauler

Not much has been happening on my projects. Been playing american truck simulator. Im somewhat obsessed with the game atm. Anyways i have painted the brickwork brown and started painting the mortar. Need to drybrush detail on the bricks yet too.

When I typed the website into my computer, it brings up a site, but that site DOESN'T offer that car for sale.

Is that car 1/16th, 1/14th, 1/32nd, or another scale?

1/14, SWEET, I'll have to try & source one of them. I DON'T as of yet, have any scale cars to go with the Tamiya trucks & equipment that I have.

The brick and mortar is looking great. Gonna need to put a 'roo bar on anything that goes to the pub.

Thanks for the info about the subaru! I've seen several places calling it 1/15. I've found places selling in Australia, new zealand, japan, russia... still lookng for one that ships international.

Skeeter has asked me to get one for him. Ill unbox it wrap in bubble wrap and repack it. So its smaller. Then go get a postage quote. Do you want me to do the same for you? PM me your details if so.
