Sense ESS Sound System
 

Has anyone used this system for a semi?

Sense ESS-One +

Some of the car and truck sounds seem good, but I can't find anywhere that someone is using it in a Semi.

ask Prop Shaft he's building a capo jeep and he installed one in it . he may have a answer for you.

Thanks, sure he might see this question. I know alot of 1/10 truck people are happy with it, just was wondering about using it in a Semi.
Don't know to many Semi's that turn upwards of 6 to 9k rpm. Have not been able to check on their download sound files, seems you have to buy it first.

on YouTube the ess is shown to have a diesel engine sound. it has a very nice earth mover sound(wheel loader excavator etc.) that sound can work in trucks. I'm getting one myself just don't know when.

You happen to have the link for the one youtube sound file, I can find a few hundred but none are for semi or wheel loader.

Sadly I havent even had time to power mine up yet. Or check out the files available online. Too many projects on the go at once Im afraid. Im hoping to get on it soon though.

I have the ESS system in my Axial SCX10 and for that it's great. There are a few semi truck sounds but to be honest I wasn't all that impressed with them compared the MFU01 I use in my Grand Hauler. If I have time I'll post some videos of the system in use and with the semi sounds so you can hear them for yourself.

Thanks, seems like they are fine for Trucks but not so much with the Semi's. Did find another one that sounds not to bad at least over the internet. Since I won't be using the MFU is the reason looking for a sound unit.

Yeah good old BangGood.com, he also has a one speaker system. Same as this only just one speaker.

I get e-mail adds from them all the time, kind of like looking over the JC Whitney catalogue that use to come in the mail.

LOL some are probably to young to remember that.
