Bruder 574 conversion
This is my attempt ( and I use that loosely) at converting a bruder 574 to rc.
I will upload my pics and my progress, any comments and tips will be greatly appreciated. This is my first go at anything rc. |
Re: Bruder 574 conversion
Sweet! I'm actually doing a loader build as well, this should help me!! This is perfect! Thank you! Are you going to post where you get the servos and what they are cause I'm new and that would be cool. I also am new to the whole transmitter and receiver thing and also new concerning what motors to by/what's the best one for the lowest money lol

Re: Bruder 574 conversion
Hi, I have done quite a lot of research on different ways to do this conversion.
I have already purchased things like Drive motors for the wheels, Esc's both brushed and brushless, ( I didnt even know what the difference was ). I have also purchased some aluminium in different sizes. I got the tyres that i will be using and i also have the radio, which is a Flysky i6. I |

Re: Bruder 574 conversion
RCP57 did a nice Bruder build and so did KAF343. They both turned out really well. I am in the midst of my conversion as well... I am just waiting for parts to show up so I can keep building. Its a long wait when parts are coming from over seas.
Keep the pictures coming. |

Re: Bruder 574 conversion
Hi all, 1 thing i have noticed on here is the amount of attention to detail on some of your builds. i am stunned and i think that is gonna be a very hard act to follow.
Just like my school reports- could try harder ! i guess some things never change. |

Re: Bruder 574 conversion
Well i have been very busy today:
Thought i would try my hand at aluminium welding not the best but its strong enough. I also wired up and tested my pump. Front half is nearly complete, i made scale pins for the arms and i even managed to put some LED's in some lights that i got for the front. Re: Bruder 574 conversion
I also picked up this little thang. Its a light/sound module where you can do channel proportioning, it come with software and everything is stored on a micro sd card. I have installed the software and i must say its a brilliant little module. i can also control the pump through this.
BTW it's made by Beirer and it's a USM-2 |
Re: Bruder 574 conversion
This is my spool valve block, its a 3way type. I have fitted hextronic micro servo's and cut the servo arms to 14mm to fit the valve actuators.

Re: Bruder 574 conversion
That is coming along great.
Looks like you've got the doctor and his telephone booth beaten by a long shot with your very own shed. LoL If you have a magic screw driver in there as well I think your Bruder conversion will be exemplary. Keep up the good work, and post as much pics as you can. |
