tamiya tow truck project

finally got a tamiya tow truck. was an unfinished build, which is good because i wanted to change the cab anyways. settled on a knight hauler with shortened sleeper. drilled new rails and got the body switched over. still working on the styrene part, but hopefully can get it rolling soon. planning beier sfr-1 and some trick lighting. also thinking about hydraulics, i know i can get cylinders for the boom lift, but don't think they make anything small enough to do the wheel lift and stabilizers, anyway, here's progress pics

A hydraulic operated tow truck, FIRST time I've heard of a scale one being built! I'll definitely be following the build progress of this one!

Interesting build! Check out Leimbach or Magom HRC for cylinders in different dimentions.
