2013 Kansas Show Pics
Well we had a pretty good weekend at the truck shows. I believe we had a decent turn out for the first show around this area. We had a lot of spectators saturday afternoon while we were running at the antique truck show and lots of interest in the hobby. I really hope we get some new members out of the whole deal.
Anyway I'll let the few pictures I grab do some of the talking. There will be more uploaded later as I know that Aaron took quite a few pics and I'll get the pictures off the girlfriends camera to upload later. Needless to say there was no lack of power on either end of the totem pole but in the end I had no problem holding his blue dump off and even holding the yellow and white Kenworth off either. Looks like a great place to play! You get bored with the RC's you could do a huge heater with one of the real vehicles and fill the place with smoke! |

Man this looked like a lot of fun! And it was in my hometown backyard! Wish I could have made it, but bills come first. But p-lease keep the pics coming.

Haha where's the video? I have a decent run! The ground proves it, that and i'm not afraid to really test my trucks out lol it was a great time! I'll post pics tomorrow still on the way home.. Thank you everyone for a fun time! I was very happy on how my trucks preformed! And a little hint for pics I'll post later is rule of thumb LOCK your axles before driving in the dirt with a full dump trailer! And a Silverado can't pull you off the embankment....... Hahahaha

nothing like doing a burnout and watching that rear axle start to do the hop hop hop!! good thing these trucks have solid plastic to hold the axles! my Axial SCX10 started to bend the 4 links...

:jump::jump: This weekend was alot of fun but the 13hr drive was the worst part each way but all in all the weekend was a blast and we had a good turn out and would like to thank the folks from the ATHS for inviting us out this weekend and putting us up in 2 great locations to run our equipment...:bounce:

Here is what we accomplished for only having 1 excavator and a loader, and a few dump trucks. Would have been nice to have a few more pieces of equipment there like a dozer or more loaders, a scraper etc... but we made do and still had a blast. Got to run my dumps quite a bit and was very happy with how they did! Poor JD's truck was floating in water Thursday morning before he left for the show but luckily we had enough spare parts laying around at the show to get him back up and running!! Thank you Tyler and everyone who showed up for the good time this weekend!!

Aaron those are some great pictures. The only thing missing is our truck pushing contest, didn't you get a video of that too? I know Aerielle has one that I'll have to get from her.

I had a great time even though the weather wasn't ideal, but that's just minor. Didnt get to take any pictures since my camera died..... although i hooked up my SMX tonight and I just need to replace the potentiometer and all should be good. So now I can say my truck has survived a flood :p:p
I wanted to thank Tyler for having the show and for all his hard work and for everyone else that helped me get my truck in working order after the flood ordeal. I dont know what I would have done with out you guys! Really had a great time and looks like this show will be on the the calender from now on :D:D Thanks for posting up the pics guys! I have a brother that can get awfully picture hungry :eek: |
