Another Howdy from Nor-Cal

Gentleman,

I am very pleased to find this forum, The level of craftsmanship here is keeping speechless,

I have been a Crane Rigger for 17yrs Here in Ca working the entire state for http://www.sheedycrane.com/ , Back in 2008 I feel while erecting a Boom section on a Liebherr 1400, I went 32" straight on my back and havent worked since. I miss my work VERY much and Thanks to you Guys, I can now bring alittle piece of my work home with me.

I am now collecting material for my Fist 30 Ton fiction rig. Here's a pic. It was designed by a Iron worker to help aid in Dismantling Tower Cranes from Tall sky scraper's , But after awhile it proved to be more valuable then expected and became a Member of the fleet of Derick and Stiff leg Derricks in our Inventory.

Yup, Im the one all the way in the back with a torque wrench, Definatlly wouldnt advise on dropping it though. 300 + feet.

I am aiming for 1/10 but Im still in the air on the build. I wanted to go with the roof mount for my first build since it's a Basic design, 3 drums- Hoist-swing-Boom.

If anyone needs any Literature on Manitowoc,Liebherr,or Grove Let me know as I have access to prints and load charts. I can even take real close up pics of about anything you can imagine-Drag lines-Mobile-crawler-Tower - Barge, etc
