A VAN FROM MY CHILDHOOD
Well when I was a young boy in 1977, AMT released a 1/25 scale model KISS van. I bought one, and never had another one. Now anybody who has seen my signature knows KISS is my favorite rock group.
I have a chance to get another, and as far as I know, AMT never re-released this kit. The van has a very cool paint job, and I know how to get the same effect. I won't let it out of the bag yet, but when I get it, i'll show on how it's done...btw, it's very simple to achieve. Anyhoo, here is a pic of what i'm getting, and it is still factory sealed...I'm very excited. http://i649.photobucket.com/albums/u...s_van_big1.jpg Thanx for looking, Big John |

Glory:
There is a place in Ontario that seems to be releasing all the bodies that formerly were only available through a place in the UK called Kamtec. They had some of the vintage stuff, and wierd onroad 'basher' scale bodies. I'd begged 'em to make Kyosho Blizxzard bodies, even offered one I had for a sample, but no reply. Begged for a Mad Max Interceptor too. Now they are releasing lots of bodues, and the name? TeamBlueGroove. They have the Ford van that was used on the Heavy Metal M<onster Tank, and a whack of 1/16 scale bodies... Camaro, Porsche 959, Mustang, and a bunch of others, plus I think if we begged 'em, we might be able to get 'em to make some semi parts... sleepers, etc. Think about it... and talk to 'em.
