Rivet lines

Does anybody have a good way to make rivet lines? I've seen a guy use straight pins but to me they just don't look right. On my 1/24 models I use those Archer resin rivets on decal paper and they work great but I cant find any in the size and spacing that I need.. any help would be appreciated.. thanks Koolaid
