Thanks! Yep, all the above, only thing I'm not sure about is do I wanna go through the trouble of installing hydraulics for one valve??? I think a high torque servo will do for now.

Cool little model! Where did you ever find one of these brand new? They don't make them anymore, do they? Is there a shop that still has some Stahl models on the shelf, brand new?

Was it off Ebay UK? There is one for sale there.

Re: BOMAG compactor BW213-D3

Thanks guys, these are ultra rare, they don't make them anymore . It was on eBay and I just had to jump on it.
Stuff, you are correct they're always yellow, it's just that yellow is my least favorite color on the planet. So orange it is.

We'll it's unique. I spent one day running a vibrating roller 10 years ago, I hope I never see another one in my life.

That is an awesome model. Will it have the vibrating drum as well?

How do you guys search ebay and find these things. I try to keep an eye out for RC equipment, but have never seen the first piece. Are you searching in foreign countries some how???

Yes I see your point... But it is hydraulics that we are talking about. Kick *** hydraulics! Maybe the high torque servo for now without any major mods to mount it, and then maybe the hydraulics later... Regardless, I love it!!
Thanks,
Eddie

Thank you! No vibrating drum, just a normal one. I found it on ebay Germany. They don't always have shipping options for the US, but some of them do.

You know I'm just joking buddy. Hydraulics are the only way to go. Gonna order all the fixings as soon as I get a plan together. For now, I'll just keep staring at it all shiny and stuff:D

I decided I didn't care for the stupid Philips head on the wheels and on the drum frame so I swapped them for more scale looking ones. Then thought why the heck not just take it apart so when it's time to paint I would have less work. Here is where it's at.
