Gardentrucking.com has blank rails you can cut and drill to the any length you need. If you call Ric he might have a set of King Hauler rails sitting around he could sell you.

FYI....I just sprayed 2 tamiya Globe cabs last week. I used Tamiya spray paint and was impressed with the results. I had used testor model master spray in the past with not the best results.

Show us how they turn out when your done.

Re: Frame Rails

I can't remember what they ordered for me now hope its in tomorrow I will let you know.
I will probley have to paint it a few times, I tryed to paint nitro body few weeks ago stuffed that up ended up puting whole nitro in tub and leaving it, wont be touching that for awhile

Re: Frame Rails

quick tip is to sponge wash the plastic with soap and water to get all the releasing agent oil off the plastic. may want to scuff the cab with fine scotch brite so the paint can stick better. after you prime it if there are any runs in the paint you can still wet sand it out. same thing if your final coat goes on. wet sand any issues and either clear or add another coat. a good paint job is all in the prep work and knowing how much to spray so you dont get runs.

I have been modeling for 15 years and still mess up so dont feel bad if you do
