Flame tipped exhaust stacks!?
Hey All.
I noticed something strange about a truck that came to the shop today. At first I wondered how the heck the guy shredded the tips of his stacks and on what?!:rolleyes: once I got closer I saw what was going on.....never seen these before and just thought I'd share. http://i1174.photobucket.com/albums/...s9a12781d.jpeg http://i1174.photobucket.com/albums/...s97fb693b.jpeg http://i1174.photobucket.com/albums/...s37b0b0f9.jpeg http://i1174.photobucket.com/albums/...sf7bca25d.jpeg I dunno....not sure what to think?:confused: Mario |

Re: Flame tipped exhaust stacks!?
Wow, that's pretty unique. I wonder if these pipes are cut with a CNC plasma or laser, then rolled and welded along the seam. That would seem to be the most practical and logical way to make a lot of these.

Re: Flame tipped exhaust stacks!?
I kind of thought these stacks looked like Elmer Fudd's gun barrel, after Bugs Bunny plugged the end with a carrot. :D

Re: Flame tipped exhaust stacks!?
LOL nice reference Nathan. :) Up close they look cool, but from further away it just looks like the pipes have been damaged. They certainly are different though. Maybe instead he should install a propane burner ring and have real flames coming out. Now THAT would be cool!
