Tilt Hood Tutorial?

Does someone have a link to a tutorial for making a tilt hood on a tamiya king hauler?

I'd be interested in knowing this myself, I know it couldn't be too hard. My questions are, what is used for hinges and what do you use for your hood latchs?

Hello, I am thinking of doing the same thing. I found this build on this site and thought I would pass along. Hope it gives you an idea about the tilt hoods.

I've never tried a tilt hood, but one thing I did notice about the procedure is that unless you extend the hood, or move the fenders and front axle forward, the fenders in the stock location will hit the breathers, as the hood tilts forward. Many make a slice through the fenders, in their stock location, to get around this problem. Just something to think about.

Look at Dreamweavers thread for hood hinges.
Cheers, Neil.
