Black wheel is for narrow tire and the white is for wide tire- Travis, now you can see what I wanted the tires for!!

Re: Military wheels ??

I personally like the small ones also but the large ones are closer to scale. May depend upon which vehicle I put them on.

Lynn,

The larger nut wheels look better than the small as they sit can't wait to see them on the truck your thinking of.

Thanks guys for the opinions. Actually there will be 3 sets made. 2 for trucks and 1 for a trailer. 1 set is for my duece and a half. No pics of any of them until the trailer is closer to finish and I get the tires for it. You will just have to suffer until then :D:D

I agree Paul, where has Merritt been hiding? :)

If you're still choosing, I'd go with the small ones. I think they look more to scale. But it's really you're opinion that counts. :D

I vote for the big ones... Looks more like what I remember seeing on M-35's (decades ago! OMG!)

Are you producing these wheels fore sale?
They are just about perfect for the project I am working on.
I would need 9 of them. Prefferably in a 1.9 config. Not sure on the width just yet.

Re: Military wheels ??

The WW2 WC Dodges used a 5 bolt Budd wheel and the lug nuts were 1-1/2'' hex.

I'm with this guy. The old large nuts were usually 6 lug, the smaller nuts would be at home with 8-10 lugs.
