Re: CSMI.
I understand it being a side job for him it's just the e-mail thing that tosses up a red flag. I'll give it another week and go from there.
As for why I bought from him. I couldn't find what I...

Re: Bearings in 3-speed gear box
Yeah I didn't understand the change either. But then again looking at my king manual it doesn't tell you to glue them in either. So my only thought is they are worried about people getting glue on...

Re: Tamiya king Hauler and MFC
The other thing you could do is find the parts from a grand hauler kit. It actually comes with a shelf for the MFC to mount on top of vs. the old way of the king hauler

Re: Additional Lights & Wireless Lights
Yes the in cab would be simple as the use of a pico switch. What a pico switch does is plugs into one of your channels in your RX that is controlled by a switch on the TX. As for the trailer the...

Re: Additional Lights & Wireless Lights
I've used the OB1 on several builds. Once paired they stay paired. It's when you want to run it with a different trailer that you'll have to pair it to that trailer. The OB1 will allow you to use...

Re: Extending the battery leads
It's about the same. All depends on your setup. If you'd rather keep the battery, esc, reciever all in the same general area I'd extend the motor wires. Or what you could do is put a connector on...

Re: PKD still a vendor?
I would say he's gone. I've e-mailed him several times with no respones. I'm a little pissed about it since I sent him parts from my knight hauler kit for him to use as templates and needless to...

Re: dx-18
That depends on your preference and what you are using it for. But mode 2 is standard and leaves the throttle on the left stick

Re: dx-18
Actually any of the new Spektrum radios have all the parts installed. It's just a matter of taking the back off and adjusting the centering spring and loosening off the ratchet spring. As well as...

Re: trailer lighting
I've used several of these kits as well as installed them for other and they are very good. The nice thing is they make a stand alone version as well as a version that works with the MFC.

I'm going to assume you have a king hauler or globeliner. Any of the newer trucks like the knight hauler, Cascadia, aeromax, etc all come with the spring to keep the 5th wheel tilted. This is...
