Got a little bit more done to the truck, now converted to round headlights. Used the small lights from a Fastrax lightning kit, FAST2341. Some clean up still required.

Kenworth Legend 900ish

This build will be very loosely based on the Kenworth Legend 900.
So far i have cut the sleeper down to 50in size and made a aero top for it.
The chassis has been stretched by about 30mm.

Almost, it was very similar to that but if i can remember correctly it used half a leaf spring. The video showed the truck moving across a floor from left to right traveling over books or ply wood...

Thanks for replying but thats not it. The one i seen wasn't a scale copy of any real suspension setup, it was more like something you might find on an offroad truck.

There are various ways of getting paint off the cab of your trucks, some are better than others, some can even deform the plastic !
I have tried a few but this is the best...

I used an ESC to start with but it wasn't supplying full voltage to the motor so i am in the process of making up a controll system using a RX controlled switch, relays and limit switches.

Its Got Paint! Decided to go with some gray paint for the body. Its actually gray primer with a clear coat over the top, but it looks ok.

Fitted the stone deflectors and reinforcing angles to the side of the tipper body.

I wanted a Carson style lifting mechanism so started off with a pair of scissors, some old corn flakes boxs, a few photos and lots of patience and eventually after lots of trial and error, i came up...

Merc rebuild

I decided to give my old Merc tractor unit a new lease of life by building it into a 8x4 tipper.

Dont have any of the Volvo's or the green Merc now. :( All the Volvo's were built for customers, so i cant complain. $$$ :D

Started into fitting the air deflectors, got the side ones fitted ok but not to sure how to attach the top one. Any ideas or photo's of how they are attached ?
