before you start your tunnel have you thought about a concrete slab over it on top of it from garage to the house
to prevent a collapse from weight of snow or animals or atvs etc

lol then this hobby is not for you , I will bet I have over 20 grand invested in this hobby and only have few models ,very very easy to spend 1000 to 1500 on a simple truck

for sheet styrene check your local sign shops as that is were I found sheets of .030 and .060 4 foot by 8 foot for less than 30 dollars each
