Edit: the meet is next month... i was told that it was tomorrow and was surprised that it wasn't in march and the person just called me and said that is actually next month.

When you assemble the gear box check the gear contact from gear to gear. You want 100% of the width of the gear to be in contact with gear that it is driving..so, lets say that...

It looks like the JK Falcon II motor is out of stock. You can look up the specs for that motor and get one that is within 5k rpm's of it and it will work fine.

I believe if you pulled a lot of weight the cvt belt would slip but, i have not tested...

That is great that you found the gears. I wouldn't drill the gear out to 2mm because you want a pressed/interference fit. Make the hole .002 (two thousandths) smaller than the shaft and press the...

Eddie, in my box of gears i had long pinion gears that were long enough to reach. If you search the net you should be able to find some. You only need about 2mm of shaft in the gear to hold it well...

This Year is the 21st anniversary.

I hope we get a good turnout this year because the miniature model engine builders and model train builders are dying off and the younger generation is not...

I am here and the dirt looks great!

We set up some really nice roads to run the road trucks on.

I agree with the comments that in general the younger generation doesn't have that much interest in physical/mechanical toys or entertainment.

The majority of my customer base are retired people....

9W Steve, maybe we should ask for top soil this year? I think the year they gave us top soil was the best dirt we ever had.

I have worked on and operated both and i prefer a wheeled loader for loading trucks.

Wheeled loaders just feel smooth and natural when loading a truck.

It is very rare that 2.4ghz will have radio interference. The next time you experience the problem go to your "display" mode and closely watch the bars that represent each channel that is glitching...

The rotating top on the joystick is nice option, it would be good for steering a truck. That is a really good price for an entire 3 axis joystick assembly.
