Depending where you are, you could approach tamiya U.S.A headquarters in Irvine CA to possibly get a truck event rolling along their events. Of course wouldn't hurt to let them know "mostly" tamiya...

what % is your pump motor running at? Does sound like a 4th valve issue but why not check. Also if this is a new machine to you the manual is a bit light on the oil required to fill the tank after...

Running hydraulics in the cold?

This will be my first winter with my hydraulic machines. Any tips or things to watch while running in the cold? Is it even a good idea? Doesn't get real cold here mainly 30's during the day.

I'd start by making sure all your trims are at neutral and also check your endpoints to see if they are at 100%. If you have to make any adjustments you'll need to reset the sound system as well.

Not sure what the stock output shaft looks like in the pump, but If you have a lathe at your disposal, take the pump apart and see if you could turn a new output shaft all together?

yea the educational tamiya stuff is ok, but not real durable if your looking to move some heavy material. Could look at some gear head units or depending on the size of the machine these gearboxes...

Grab a camera hold module. We in the tank hobby use them for servo elevation of the main gun and to hold position. Could also put one on your throttle stick channel if you want to make it self...
