3.42" long would be a scale 48" in 1/14 scale
I use a band saw set with a guard to guide a nice straight cut. Use auto bondo or tamiya white filler. Lots of sanding,dust and patience !

Yea. Dan Bruno, the guy that built the duck truck a few years back did a lot of research on the real movie truck...Even located one of the trucks used in the movie that was still being used And one...
