Re: German wheel compactor
They look good, very good, simple design, easy to make.
But I dont know for you guys, but if I would build something like this, I would use steel, not alu.
I guess more weight is a plus for...

Re: Grand hauler dampers
Bacause they are cheap. There is an upgrade to oil dampers. They play the hop-up game with all their models, so that you buy it "cheap" and than spend fortune je on part to make it as it should come...

Re: CAT 996K XE
Great start. When I look at all the loader threads, everyone is doing CAD all over again. Maybe the best thing would be to make open source version, so we dont spend time on the same design, but...

Re: 3:1 Planetary Reduction
Cool unit, maybe I will try to order few to try. 3:1 is not much, and I dont like the fact it goes directly on the motor, as it puts more torque on gears inside tamiya 3speed.
But i would like to...

Re: Running in water
As I know you need to seal your electronics. Many of todays ESC-s come waterproof, and brushed motors can go underwater. It remains to seal the servos and reciver. There are some products used for...

Re: Tamiya bolt on reduction gear
Great to see you fit it!
Its not 4:1, its 6,4:1 !
And i think the reason you wer not able to pull 106 pounds is in your motor! Try stronger motor, 55T doesnt have enough power, and now you...

Re: bigfords trucks
I use tamiya motor that comes in a kit, i guess its 27T? Works great for me. I think there is no need for buying slow motors when using GRU. Big T motors, 65T 85T 45T, they have no power. More...
