Re: 2018 CABIN FEVER EXPO January 12-14

Anyone have an issue if I bring a 1/16 rc tank to occasionally run on the dirt and promote the hobby? Full operational with historical track/gun recoil and slow speed.

Re: RC4WD Dozer, modifications, upgrades, settings.

Easy Yard, that was a crap aggressive/passive post you had, but fine. (see what I did there?) Number one is to remove the the "overfill" tube off the fluid tank and plug or replace with a one way...

When I show up on Sat should I just go through normal entrance or drive to the back and unload?

Re: my new toy

Yup, plus if anything goes south on a RC4WD rig you can say you were running "their" recommended fluid. Still run their stuff just cause. Guess at some point I'll upgrade to a valve block that...

Re: Eagle dozer question

Yea I use a punch. Watch as your filling the tank. You can just keep filling the sucker and it'll pour out that crappy "relief" tube, then you'll have oil dripping through the sponson/fender.

Re: Eagle dozer question

No the hose just sits in the sponson, so if it does spill out the tube it goes everywhere. I got my decals from a member on here. Believe he had a buddy make them. His handle on the forum is Papy....

Re: Eagle dozer question

The breathe tube off the hydro tank leaks like a sieve if your operating at a decent side angle or roll the sucker. I replaced the tubing with a pressure relief valve such as found on the 4200XL. ...

Re: Eagle 870k loader modifications: Light kit and more..

Not sure quarry chains are really going to help you unless they are well spaced. They'll just fill and freeze up. What you really need is a more aggressive tread on a softer compound tire. Wonder...

Re: channel mixing

Just another thought, my Magom wheel loader has all functions mixed to have the pump come on or you can just turn on the pump via TX. I've found that with the pump always running I get better...

Re: White Clay Creek Quarry and Excavating.

Definitely an argument for better valves. Can hear those suckers squealing when doing finer movements. Maybe a Jan or Feb project when weather sucks.
