Re: Cable Shovel Build

Are you thinking of adding another small servo pulling cable to trip the dumping latch, or going to stay with something more like the original toy chain?

Also with the tapered edges on your winch...

Re: 3D printed Cushman 1/16

Pretty sure instead of Craftsmanship, mine was just mixing some boredom with trying to make a 'dust collector' model into an extremely light-duty toy.

(If it failed i was going to break it down...

Re: 3D printed Cushman 1/16

Looks like those ww2 Cushmans could pull a small trailer (to keep it upright + carry batt rx esc) or there was a non-airdrop 3 wheel trike version.

Probably would need TTTT electronics that are...

Re: anyone evaluated Marx tin litho dollhouses for size??

I have not. I know that the common 'dollhouse scale' is 1/12 (normal) or sometimes 1/24 (mini).

It would probably work pretty well, though a modest house. You likely don't have enough floor space...

Any luck getting the chassis balance more where you're happy with how it drives?

That's a really sharp looking outfit!

Yeah i see what you mean on the wheels, maybe painting the Spider or Brakedrum black might get the contrast you're wanting?

There was a Doepke trailer?
I...

Re: Structo dumptruck conversion

Well yeah, the important thing is putting another potential vehicle in the dead-lot to think about converting instead of ordering parts to actually complete stuff.

This Structo isn't a big truck...

Re: 56 Ford Semi

Heh, dragging the weight is half the battle, but having steering helps. Hopefully you can get enough weight up on the steer axle to make a difference. I bet some working diffs like the JJRC axles...

Re: My first hand painted figure

Great job, he's looking great!

A *very* thinned out wash could help bring out the creases and seams in the clothes a little more, but with that it's easy to go too far.

Re: Lebanon Indiana, Feb 2-4, 2023

Welcome back fury. Hope to see you at one of these. Don't worry too much about 100% completed, you'll probably be accepted even if you were to just Madmax an action figure to a chassis...

For 2023...
