Re: Old School Peterbilt - First Build - lots of photos

I've tried sewing thread and x-acto razor saws and I am definitely most comfortable with the razor saw. There's more control, especially when cutting a straight line. Can't comment for cutting out...

Re: Project : Petico (Pepe Le Pew )

I saw one of these vacuum trucks the other day. Operators obviously has a sense of humour, there was a sign on the back that said "caution: stool bus" made me laugh

Re: My next build!

Looks great even at the prototype phase, nice grille too. Troy you are turning into an rc truck building machine! I can't keep up! This is what is great about the builds on this board, no two are...

Re: my intermediate project, steamroller

Thanks Nathan. It took me ages to decide which model to go for but in the end I prefered the green roller to the blue traction engine, it just looks a bit too toyish in blue. I ended up repainting...

Re: Starting my daycab Kenworth

Troy this is now officially my new favourite truck, outstanding work! You're putting me to shame with all the trucks you've built while I'm still on my first one! I am making some slow progress...

Re: Lookin for YOUR opinion on Postin like a fool!

There have been a lot of "nice build" type post count bumping posts, seems like it's just done to get into the bst. Maybe we could encourage new members to at least contribute by starting a thread on...

Re: my intermediate project, steamroller

Oh yes, I've run 2 packs of fuel tablets through it already, so much fun when it's steaming up and hissing. Everything gets hot, have to watch where you put your fingers!

my intermediate project, steamroller

Well, to keep me going and for some light relief from my main project Peterbilt, I decided to have a go at building a wilesco old smoky. I liked the idea of a live steam model. So, after getting the...

Re: Pete 357 tri-axle dump update 8/7/11

Please feel free to shoot me down in flames if I'm wrong, but maybe the aircleaners look higher or at least different because it's a 357 rather than a 379, so I believe the hood slopes compared with...

Re: Miniature Wunderland Airport

What an amazing model, I'm not surprised it cost €3.5 million to make. And that was just the airport! I saw the model railway on tv, apparently the guys that started this made their fortune running a...

Re: Starting my daycab Kenworth

Super cool rig, it just looks so bad. Bodywork is sweet, really nailed the KW look. I am so envious of the rims, they compliment the truck well.

Re: Aaargh! Warped frame rails!

They are quite long at 1 metre each but I can always use what's left over for something else. Shipping wasn't a problem for me, Germany to England isn't that far, but I imagine it could be costly to...

Re: Aaargh! Warped frame rails!

Re: Blacked Out Knight Hauler

This is quite possibly the baddest knight hauler I have ever seen! Looks great and stands out with the black rims instead of the usual chrome. Where was the headache rack from? Looks really good....
