Re: Thoughts on the RC4WD BEAST II 1/14?

No sweat Jeff. Hanging around the likes of Daryl T and Willy has taught me a lot over the years. Yea, I did the bruder conversion as well as a goldhofer. Used the Actuonix stuff to get the ramps...

Re: Thoughts on the RC4WD BEAST II 1/14?

It's not THAT easy to get a live front axle on a tammy. You have to fit in a transfer case and figure a way to get the driveshaft under the gearbox back to the front axle. Other option would be to...

Re: Soviet ZiS 150 cab and bed

Yup, SCX10 will be too wide. Also if you have the battery/ESC up front it wont fit over it.
Really, unless you have a flat footprint with no obstructions this cab is a toughy without cutting it up.

Re: Soviet ZiS 150 cab and bed

Jack, did you assemble then paint or paint as you went during assembly? I can't decide how I want to approach this sucker. Detailed interior or not. Hate to assemble then have to mask small area's...

Re: Thoughts on the RC4WD BEAST II 1/14?

Been giving this a bit of thought Jeff, and really if your thinking you just want a transporter that may see some grass and packed dirt a tammy rig will fit the bill. Not going to be 6X6 but will...

Yes they are. Check their website for the different dimensions like these. Scroll down a bit to see diagrams with dimensions.

Re: Thoughts on the RC4WD BEAST II 1/14?

150 Cab is really nice. You have to watch what chassis your putting it on though since it's highly detailed and has full interior and floor boards its tough to get it around electroinics and such. ...

Re: Thoughts on the RC4WD BEAST II 1/14?

Sometimes the "scale" can be misleading. Check out the dimensions of the vehicle and not necessarily just the scale. If the wheelbase and width are ok you can fool the eye a bit with different size...

Re: Thoughts on the RC4WD BEAST II 1/14?

Depending on what you want to do with it Jeff you can also look the cheap route. It's not the best quality but can get spare parts and leaves you money for a different body if you like. On the...

Re: Soviet ZiS 150 cab and bed

CC-01 chassis isn't going to work, too small. Going to look at other options.

Re: Soviet ZiS 150 cab and bed

Right on. Yea, looks like they will be a cool company to keep an eye on. Right now I'm still thinking of doing a retro Dakar truck on a CC-01 chassis I have laying around. Cream/brown cab with a...

Re: wrecker from a worminator chassis

Re: roof top emergency light bar?

Cheapo light bar isn't bad. Not top performance or quality but for a beater will work great. Plug and play into an open channel on your rx for on/off and switch between 4 sequences.
