Re: Styrene Questions

Save yourself a boatload of money and forget the Bondene or SameStuff, Tenax etc. solvents. Go get yourself some MEK at HD or Lowes, works the same. If you need a little bit longer set time, use...

Re: My next build!

Cast and chromed is how Ric does the older style. Alternatively you could make them out of plastic and paint them chrome. Best chrome paint I have seen is Eastwood Liquid Chrome, it looks pretty...

Re: rds 8000

Do you mean the throttle hi warning? Move the throttle stick down/rev for a second and it will stop. As far as programming the radio is pretty well laid out and the manual is decent. MFU...

Re: A home brewed conveyor

I think it looks great. I have seen a bunch of the bruder's converted on german sites and they work well but like Joe said they are short. Scale belt material is hard to come by.

Re: Styrene Tool box

Is that squadron? Avoid that stuff it shrinks and cracks. You should get your styrene joints as tight as possible. It looks like you have square backer rod in there so if you were to sand through...

Re: MFU or servonaut

Re: Working round baler scale 1/Tamiya

Frank- I have followed all of Juergen's build over the years. His pottinger is a work of art as well as the Fendt. I am inspired by his build and one day hope to tackle a tractor. Was going to...

Re: MFU or servonaut

Well that all depends of course. :D Would you want to run the S20 or M20+ with that? The servonaut is a nice unit but with an esc and lights (ML4) etc. it is more than the MFU. I will do a...

Re: Aaargh! Warped frame rails!

I have looked at the carson rails too but never wanted to risk shipping them overseas. Shipping must have been reasonable but aren't they pretty long?

Re: Future Tamiya Rigs

The MAN TGX is the newest one and that has been out for a bit. I wouldn't expect we'll see a new model any time soon and I'm sure it won't be an American model like others have stated. The...
