Re: Back to the Fifties

The chassis is looking really clean so far! Love the way you made the tilt-cab hinges.

Re: Back to the Fifties

That's gonna be a sharp truck! I'm really digging where this one is going.

With that stance, it looks like the cab protector might be pretty close to the cab?

For what it's worth, I can't say...

Re: Ford Custom Deluxe station wagon - 1950 Woody

Apparently if you add 'a bunch' of weight to a donor rc car, then don't change gear ratios or motor, still leave the motor wired backwards to the Esc, and don't keep up on cycling your battery...

Re: Barber-Greene Tracked Bucket Elevator - 1946

Nice, I'd love to see what you come up with for a nearly completely Tonka construction company!
I usually haven't been too picky about brand loyalty.

Re: Barber-Greene Tracked Bucket Elevator - 1946

Thanks jerry,
Exactly. It's enough to fill my 1930s end dump, 1940s belly dump, and 1960s end dump. My scale drivers probably enjoy having a little bit of down time for some coffee, a smoke, looking...

Re: Wooldridge 1940s Bottom-Dump Truck

The belly dump isn't done, it just went out for an extended a shakedown run.

I'm not mad in the least about it's performance or capability!
As i said in the beginning I'm aiming toward Scale,...

Re: Wooldridge 1940s Bottom-Dump Truck

I'm fairly happy with how my machine runs. Speed seems about right for what it is.
