Re: my cabover
That sure is a sweet looking truck. I haven't seen to many semi's, but this is the first one I've seen with painted frame rails and it looks really good. Nice color choice too.

Re: Indy buying spree
Yeah, I've looked through the PMD site, but did not see those tires listed. Are they special order or something, or am I better off just ordering them from Germany?

Re: Figure height for drivers?
So I guess 4" to 4.5" would be good.
Well that blows, the figure I was looking at I think is more like 7". Waiting to hear back from the seller though. For some reason I was thinking they were like...

Trucks from the movies
With all the trucks that have been "portrayed" on the big screen, I can't think of any RC trucks I've seen that replicate one.
For the last 4 or 5 years now my want for a semi has been a King Hauler...

Here's a picture, although the guy used a 4th gear, you can use one in it. On Scale4x4 and RCC people having been using this method for years....

Figure height for drivers?
About how tall should a figure be for a driver in the Tamiya semi's?
I'm looking at one on Ebay for a truck I want to build one of these days. It's $50 so I don't want to just buy it, but is open...

Re: how do you lock the rear
Or you can take apart the diff, remove one of the spider gears and place it in between the other two. Might have to work it down in a tad to re-assemble. BAM! Instant free reversible locker.
