Re: looking for hardware
You can get a lot of stuff you will need from Fastenal. I just bought 3mm screws in a bag of 100 for about $3

Re: bigfords trucks
How do those hoods look when you get them? Are they a lot of work to prep for paint? I've been interested in one for my next build.

That looks great, perfect size for the truck you are building. Nice work on the mod too.

Re: King Hauler finally started
I agree with Bigford. I love the streetrod headlight on Petes, they just need to be a bit smaller.
This is the best looking set in my opinion: ...

Re: Forum Veterans?
Cool, like I said I was just wondering.
Hoping to make it to Indy next year (with a trailer too). Ex-wife payments end in 10 months, so $500 a month toward my toys!!!!!

Forum Veterans?
What happened to all of the forum veterans? I have been here for 11 months now and it seems like very few of the people who were posting when I joined are active anymore. I won't name anyone...

Re: Hay Hauler
Well you can use just about anything to make a core. I have seen people simply fold up a cardboard box too.
Looking forward to more on this build, keep it up. Nice work

Re: Hay Hauler
Roundabout,
Cool truck, are you planning on making a shorter sleeper like the 1:1?
As far as the bales go....go to a store like Hobby Lobby, you can find foam blocks there, either white foam or...

Re: My First Truck Build
Thanks guys. I have parts being collected for a winter upgrade. There is a lot you can do with these trucks to really make them your own creation.

Re: Green Globe First Build
Came out great. Drive it around and enjoy it while you collect upgrade parts for a "winter upgrade project". I agree with Bigford, tankers look great behind cabovers.

Re: Searching measure values for a 53ft flatdeck

Re: Smiley's Garage/Shade tree mechanic
I actually used to drive a Milk Truck on a route like that, except it had 2 lift axles ahead of the drivers as well as one behind. Big 4500 gallon tank on it.
