Re: Mini City

Hurricane Hermine really messed up the ground and caused minor erosion to the unfinished tunnel and really partied hard tossing sticks and branches everywhere and now I have to remove a fallen oak...

My first semi build thread

It's getting close until I get my Grand Hauler, so I decided to start a build thread.
I do plan on swapping most of the plastic chrome pieces for some aluminum such as the bumpers, drop visor, air...

Re: Mini City

Yes, once I laid the paint down I saw that all those bends an corners might be a problem if I don't fix that.

Keywords if you ever get done! We all know that's wishful thinking when it comes...

Re: Mini City

Last night I marked the roads and roughly measured the length which came out to 160'. In total I will need 320sqft of cement. It'll be a long going project but 3/4 of this hobby is about building and...

Re: Mini City

The only issue with pond liner is that it will hold water. I I'll probably end up putting some gardening fabric down. I've also tossed the idea of using pond liner but with the torrential rain we see...

Re: Mini City

It seems that we are far and few in between here in Florida. It's good to know that there are some mini truckers around. I'm sure in a few months I will have an operational City and then I'll try...

Re: New forklift and starting a warehouse

Yup very nice addition piece , it's certainly a must have! A forklift is on my long list of toys I want to add to increasing RC debt.

Are you going to leave it the same color?

Re: random stuff

Weathering with a mini butane torch and white wash stain would work and usually turns out well.

Re: Mini City

I've just been mulching them with my mower and raking into large piles and I know that isn't a long-term plan when I start laying down cement and adding features. A best solution would be to contact...

Re: Coroplast scale buildings

That's the downside to solar when the sun isn't always available. Luckily for me, sunshine isn't an issue. Preserving the energy with rechargeable batteries, I'll probably have to incorporate motion...

Re: Mini City

It's easy to dig but not great for floors, hence the handsaw to cut the roots. The sand is the main reason why I'm putting down two inches of cement for the roads.

Re: New Club Roadway under construction

That roadway looks great! How wide is the typical scale roadway? I'm looking at 20" wide right now for my roadway before I lay cement down, is that wide enough with shoulders and whatnot?

Mini City

Re: Coroplast scale buildings

Thanks for sharing your pictures. I thought I was going to be needing a ton of wood to start construction on buildings for the backyard city I'm going to make. The material you use is exactly what I...

Re: insane 1st build

Sweet build, the insanely stretched rigs have always captured my attention. I really like how you ran the trailer light connection in a hidden design.

Re: Waving a hand from Florida

Thanks and I'm sure I'll have many questions once I begin my first Hauler build. YouTube has been my idea farm as of lately. Can't wait to get started on a new build and share.
