thanks for the heads up - I really liked the SS-Tronix kit because it also allowed for a servo channel on the trailer. Does the Beier kit allow this? I believe OB-1 system which is also popular...

didn't know this bent track rod existed - probably do the job just as well as my mod, but doesn't need a lathe with vertical mill slide to get there :D

Ah - I did pull the axles apart when I got them, to see how the worked....but didn't take any pics...not wanting to pull apart now, sorry! there is a dog clutch on one half shaft which slides across...

motorised support legs work with or without MFU.

The legs have their own power supply on the trailer with a switch mechanism. The servo on the truck which works the coupler (5th wheel) latch also...

5-stage hoist is cosmetic only - no hydraulic oil anywhere. Having built the trailer before I got it painted, it just looked wrong without a hoist. I've seen plenty of rigid trucks with the lifting...
