Hanomag Screwdrive and Wheel Speed

Screwdrive Speed

I recently bought a "new" built Graupner Hanomag 66C loader. Unfortunately, it arrived damaged (including a bent fender, bent exhaust and cracked rim) due to poor packaging, the...

Re: Fergelli linear actuators L12 R.

Where are you buying from? If it is the Fergelli in Victoria, BC that is sort of local for me (and also for some others on the Island). I am sure someone here on the Island (myself included)...

Re: Here Kitty Kitty...

Wow, great work! No wonder you didn't buy my mill when you have the skills to do that by hand. Being able to tig weld (which I can't) really opens up some possibilities for assembly. Are you going...

Re: Caterpillar D11R CD 1:14,5 by Gipicarto

Wow, your talent never ceases to amaze me. This is an incredible build and truly is a masterpiece. Hard to believe you did it all manually. Do you have a Digital Readout on your mill and, if not,...

Re: ADT Project

Wow, that's a lot of work Jens! Yes, it is a D350D not a 350D. If it is too slow, I will change out the motors (which might require re-tubing the axle housing) or perhaps try to make a reverse...

Re: ADT Project

Hi Joe,

I am using the RC4WD Mil-Spec ZXL 2.2 tires. The diameter is 5.17" (131mm).

I am going to use some M5 set screws and I do plan to drill slightly into the gearhead casing. The tubing...

Re: ADT Project

I don't remember exactly how I decided on this motor but I think I was looking at the speed in RCLogger's ADT and these were pretty close. I plan to run these on 13.2v batteries.

Re: ADT Project

A small update on my slow motion ADT project. I made some axle housings out of aluminum tubing. I had to step the inside to slide in the gear motors for a nice snug fit. I will secure them with a...

Re: Hyd Pump - What did I just buy?

I have looked at these for a long time but never quite got around to buying one. Great price. They can get really expensive. You can also buy rebuild kits without the housing. Looking forward to...

Re: Is this a good machine for the $$$

If you spend a little more you can get a bigger Bf sized mill from Grizzly. The table is much larger and it is a lot heavier than the LMS mill.

Re: ADT Project

Thanks. What I lack in talent I make up for in tooling - I need all the help I can get in making parts. Sometimes it works out, sometimes it's a disaster. It's all fun though.
