We've been toying with the CNC thing for some time. Last year I got to run a HAAS TM2 at a demo and with the programming and tool setups we were looking at runs of 5 to 10 parts being cost effective....

I wish all these online stores were available 30 years ago when my dad started building. It sure would have saved alot of grief in tracking down suitable parts.

Jr, you'll probably see it long before it hits the dirt. I'm going to need lots of parts from the R/C shop and I'll need help tracking down specialty items. I'll be in on Tuesday to order the tires...

I'm aimimg for 1/14 scale.
The tires should be around 5" tall.

These tires from RC4WD look pretty close at 5 1/2"

I forgot to mention the 075 was completed in 1988 and is still functional although the motors are getting a little tired.

We are working in 1"=1' scale or 1/12.
The machine is only cabable of 300 degrees rotation because there is no rotary union and yes the cylinders are home made.

The model is Tethered to a remote power unit for the hydraulics and electical supply.
