Those diffs are modified semi housings from rc4wd. The shafts are just a little longer and I had to re-machine the casings to make them fit but they work pretty good and are great all locked up.

Well you are correct. I didn't figure it'd be that hard to figure out. Now all I have left is to make a die for them and put a concave in them and start framing out the plow frame.

Mark, the base of this model started out life as an Ertl diecast prestiege edition. You can find them from time to time on ebay anywhere from $70-$100.
