Re: My Ford FW-60 Project

I've got to hand it to you, Tyler, this is one of the nicest, best documented die-cast tractor conversions I've ever seen. I might have had my doubts, in the beginning, that you'd end up with a...

Re: My Ford FW-60 Project

Great work! Your faux hydraulic/electrical hook ups for implements turned out really nice. The tractor sure has come a long ways. It's always nice to see more updates in your thread.

Re: My Ford FW-60 Project

That's awesome. I'm a huge fan of the working lights. I like that you used warm white LEDs instead of the cool whites. Yeah, cool whites are brighter, but warm white is more accurate for a tractor...

Re: My Ford FW-60 Project

Nice work on the detail touches. The hand rails looks great, as do the anti-skid steps.

Re: My Ford FW-60 Project

Wow. It sure cleaned up nicely! The chassis is all powder coated now? Looks like a perfect match. I see you upgraded the axles too. Nice. Do you put the battery behind the grille? That looks...

Re: My Ford FW-60 Project

Re: My Ford FW-60 Project

You did a pretty nice job turning the rims. Did you make brand new one piece rims, turned to look like duals, or separate rims that bolt onto the RC4WD rims, like true duals? I wouldn't worry about...

Re: My Ford FW-60 Project

What rims did you end up going with? The RC4WD Militants?

The rain cap is a cool little touch.

Re: My Ford FW-60 Project

Have you tested it's pulling power yet? Kind of curious what it's capable of.

Re: My Ford FW-60 Project

Another tractor conversion! These are great. I'm working on one too, but I've got red in my veins, so my tractor will be too. I have to say, after starting work on mine, it looks like these Ford...
