I use solid for the idlers just for the extra front end weight unless they are spoked then i might mill them out the idlers on my terex and the D 7 are 3 inch solid by 1 inch thickgood and heavy to...

lol i know what you mean the tracks i have to make all the pads and weld the links and grouser bars on yet lol and make the idlers and pick up some sprockets

don't take it hard i know the feeling lol i had to cut the whole rear quarter outta my terex dozer when i built it and i chopped the whole model in half cuz the front end was too long then on the D...

a 4 in 1 bucket would be cool but kinda hard then you could bit stuff to pick it up or you could use it to gradeout the sand or rubber chips

yep i now have a tap broken off in the side frame lol and yes it is a 4/40 lol 45 holes done and the last 3 to go and it snaps lol i am tryin to figure out a way to do this when i get them all tapped...

yea it should you have to ruff it up real good 60 or 80 grit sand paper and you can glue metal with it instead of welding but it takes like 24 hours to cure and 12 to set up thats at 70 degrees
